2022 Tough Tejano Awards Luncheon: Save the Date!

Join us in celebrating Texas’s Tough Tejanos at the awards luncheon on April 5th at the Witte Museum in San Antonio!

In March, our state legislators designated April 6 as Tejano Day, an observance that coincides with the date in 1813 when Tejano leaders issued the first declaration of Texas independence. To celebrate, we will be honoring Tough Tejanos from around the state who championed issues for their communities.

Will you help sponsor this event? Benefactors reserve a table and have their names listed on all event materials. If you are interested in sponsoring a table for this luncheon, please contact Caroline Payne.

Do you know a Tough Tejano? Nominate members of your community who have influenced social and political issues and overcome barriers by submitting their name below.

Be on the lookout in January for more event details to come! We hope to see you on April 5th.
