We are planning a great community event “Tejanos, Texas & Tamales”  to bring together our elected officials with their constituents on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 from 6-8pm at La Mansion located at 809 Berry Rd. Houston, TX 77022 . The event will feature complimentary tamales, live music, and cash bar.

Tamales are a holiday tradition in Mexican culture synonymous with family, community, and unity. Families come together to hold “Tamaladas,” while tamales are not difficult to make, they are labor intensive and can be time consuming, tamaladas are an opportunity for families and friends to gather, share stories, laughter and forge lasting relationships.
